Divine Vibration
When I first heard your name
all romance lost its substance
pop songs and love songs became dull
in echo of truth.
Your sound rung through my soul
like matrimonial bells
in a jeweled city of flame
burning illusion.
Through the veil, I glimpsed
my bridegroom was emptiness
my bride, the bright fullness of Self,
here to become one.
We chanted together,
my fullness, your emptiness,
until we mirrored perfectly
our innate wholeness.
You chanted my true name
and I chanted yours the same
until each shade of resonance
became family.
Every vibration
divulged its true ancestry
as the one primal unstruck sound,
silent in the heart.
Silence is the mother
of each divine vibration.
In this sacred cacophony
we find our freedom.
